Looking to buy an electric guitar from an electric guitar store? Here are some guitar buying guidelines that you should read before deciding what guitar you should buy… Read below to find out more.

Before You Buy a Guitar – Guitar Buying Guidelines

Here are a few guidelines to follow while making a guitar purchase. Whether you are a seasoned pro or a hobbyist/beginner, it pays to make your guitar buying decision with your eyes open and with a good plan.

Acoustic or Electric?

The first thing to decide is whether you want an acoustic or electric guitar. If you are a beginner, most guitar instructors will advice going with an acoustic, then moving on to an electric later. The acoustic guitar strings are a little harder to press down on the fretboard which makes for strong guitar playing hands. The electrics use a much lighter gauge string which is easy to press down and might not help strengthen the hands in the early part of a beginner’s guitar journey.

Another thing to consider is ear training. While the mad howls of an electric guitar might sound cool to the girls next door, it won’t help train a new guitarist’s ear as well as the melodic tone of a quality acoustic.

Buy online or at the local guitar store?

And here we come to the next critical decision in our guitar buying plan. Do we buy online? It seems that these days everything is bought online, and usually quite cheaper than in our local store. Buying online can save you some money when buying a guitar. But in the end, it’s usually wiser to buy at a local guitar shop.

At the local guitar store you can actually sit down and hold the guitars and find out if this guitar feels better than that one. Finding a good guitar that you like is a very personal thing. Even if you are a beginner, or can’t even play a single chord, I imagine if you were handed a few different guitars, you’d find one that you liked–that just felt good. There’s no scientific analysis here, just your personal, subjective ideas about what makes a good guitar for you.

Further analysis…

Before you take the plunge and plunk down your hard-earned cash on the guitar that you’ve chosen, take a moment to check for a few problems.

1. Do the strings make a buzzing sound when you play a chord? (If you can’t play yet, have a friend come along with you or ask the clerk in the store.)

2. Is the neck straight? Stare down the edge of the neck, holding the headstock where the tuners are. A very slight bow is ok.A significant bow is no good.

3. Are there any loose parts, switches, etc.? This is especially important on an electric.

Now you are ready

I hope this brief guitar-buying how-to has you a little more prepared for your guitar purchase. One final note: you might want to shop around a little instead of buying the first thing you see. Take your time, visit a few different shops and enjoy the process.

Are you looking to buy electric guitars? There are alot of them found on the Web.But the question is, how to choose the right one? Visit below for some tips on buying eletric guitars.

Buying an Electric Guitar – Some Tips

Choosing the right electric guitar is very important. Some of the things to think about when buying an electric guitar:

There are three main body styles to electric guitars: semi-hollow, solid-body, and hollow-body. Solid body guitars are a good choice when you are looking for loud sustainable sounds. When you need a more acoustic sound and high amplification, semi-hollow guitars are perfect. Guitars that are hollow, or jazz guitars, give a superior acoustic sound but when there are high amplification levels, they can receive a great deal of feedback.

When trying to decide on the type of neck for your guitar, you should think about how big your hands are. They come in shapes like C-shaped, wide-thin, thin, and more.

The scale length affects the tone quality of the notes made and also the tension put on the string during a certain pitch. Scale length means the vibrating length of the string.

Intonation- Intonation is what tells you if the notes play in tune when you move up the neck. The distance between the frets has to be right, or else there will be no way for the guitar to play in tune.

Set Neck or Bolt On- A set neck is available on guitars like the Gibson Les Paul, and a bolt on neck comes on guitars like the Fender Stratocaster. Some people prefer set necks, and others like bolt on.

Fret numbers- The majority of electric guitars have 22 frets, and if you are someone that prefers to play in a high register, you can buy a 24- fret neck.

Finish- With electric guitars, you don’t have to worry about the finish affecting the sound like with acoustics. However, people that make guitars know this, and make adjustments accordingly.

Bridge- There is the stoptail bridge and the tremolo bridge. The whammy bar, or tremolo bridge, gives you the ability to bend each string at the same time, but this can also result in causing strings to become out of tune. The stoptail bridge is far more stable in regards to tuning, and because it is fixed into the body of the guitar, many people think that is gives more sustain than the tremolo bridge, since it floats right above the body.

The majority of electric guitars have two pickups, with one being close to the neck, to give a thicker sound, and another one close to the bridge. This one makes a more treble sound. With a three-position switch, you can blend the pickups or choose which one you want. With guitars with a five position switch, the pickups can be mixed together to make tones that are glassy. If the guitar has a middle pickup, then more sound mixing options become available.

The electric guitar you choose will often be based on both your own personal choices and the sounds you wish to produce with your guitar. By knowing as much about different types of guitars, you can make a more informed choice.

Preparing For The Custom Electric Guitar Builder

Preparation before ordering a custom built electric guitar.

1.) The first thing you’ll need to do is draw the guitar to scale. This doesn’t have to be an entire 3D drawing, but a large enough flat picture on paper drawn to scale, preferably of the head and body of the guitar can help speed up the design process.

What the luthier (fancy name for guitar builder) has to do first is create templates of both the neck and body of the guitar. These are made out of plywood or sometimes perspex, kind of like a flat version of the guitar that’s going to be created.

2.) You need to know beforehand exactly what parts you want on the guitar, as those measurements are crucial to the design of the guitar. An electric guitar builder can’t even think about starting on a guitar before all the parts are right there with him or her.
Acoustic guitar builders have less of a problem with that, seeing as there are less parts to worry about.

3.) Find a guitar neck that you like the feel of and try find out the measurements, like fretboard radius, neck thickness and scale length.

The best electric guitar construction method

There are three basic electric guitar building methods to consider. Mostly a good luthier will have this pretty much figured out, but surprisingly enough, there are some differing opinions.

The three methods that are most commonly referred to are bolt on neck, glued in or set neck, and neck through body construction.

In my opinion there is only one choice, and that’s neck through body construction.
This means that the neck runs all the way through the body, and the sides are glued on.
Second choice is a set neck.

Some luthiers will do something called a deep set neck tenon, which is half way between a set neck and a neck through. Not a bad compromise at all.

Good wood equals good tone

There are many good woods to use on a guitar, my favorite is African Mahogany.
A good idea is to do some proper research, the best kind being to listen to some of your favorite guitars and see what wood they used on them.

Guitar tone is a very personal thing, so no-one can tell you what to do there.
An experienced luthier will have a good grasp of the tonal character of various woods, so tell them what you want and they should know what to do.

The value of a personalized custom electric guitar is something that’s difficult to quantify. I’ve always said that any good guitar is worth more than the money you pay for it.

For the experienced player, an acoustic guitar is an
indispensable songwriting tool, practice partner, and the most
portable means to take your music with you. Here’s a series tips
for playing an acoustic electric guitar designed to help you get
the most out of this versatile instrument.

Whether you are a songwriter, guitar teacher, coffee shop
musician, studio musician or someone who just plays purely for
pleasure the sound of an acoustic guitar can enhance your project
and inspire your creativity.

Sometimes, because of the volume of the other instruments in the
band, the size of the venue or particular recording project we’re
working on, it’s necessary to amplify the acoustic guitar … it
happens to all of us so we need to be prepared!

Tips for Playing Acoustic Electric Guitar: tip 1

If you are buying an acoustic electric guitar there’s an
incredible range to choose from, the first thing to keep in mind
is that no matter pick-up, microphone, effects unit, amplifier or
P.A you run your guitar through they can only amplify the
original sound.

That’s the key, you should get the best acoustic guitar for your
particular application. The guitar must sound great without the
pick up and amplification, no amount of electrical effects can
save a poor sounding acoustic instrument.

I repeat, if you are considering buying an acoustic electric
guitar make certain that the guitar sounds great before you plug
it in.

Tips for Playing Acoustic Electric Guitar: tip 2

What type of acoustic guitar do you need? Do you need a six
string, steel strung guitar? Would a nylon string acoustic guitar
be more suitable? If you are a solo artist maybe a 12 string
acoustic guitar would be best.

Which guitar is best? The answer will depend entirely on your
application. To help you get started here is a couple of general
observations.

(a) The bulk acoustic rhythm guitar that we hear on the radio is
played on a six string, steel strung guitar played with a pick.

(b) Nylon guitars are becoming more popular in pop music due to
their capability to produce harmonic content in a frequency range
that will not affect the lead vocal. In this situation the nylon
strung guitar is generally played with a pick, instead of being
played with the fingers as it would be played in classical music.

(c) The 12-string guitar works most effectively by itself or with
little accompaniment for it takes up a lot of the frequency and
musical range.

Tips for playing acoustic electric guitar: tip 3

What size acoustic guitar will you need? Do you need a Jumbo,
Dreadnought, 7/8 or folk size?

Keeping in mind we want to get the best acoustic sound from the
guitar. Essentially the top of a guitar is similar to the sound
board of a piano, you should avoid guitars with volume/tone
controls etc, mounted on the guitar top. Ideally, we want the
guitar top to vibrate freely, even the wrong type of bridge pins
can significantly effect the tone and projection of your guitar.

A guitar that has brass bridge pins will have far less volume
than a guitar with rosewood bridge pins. Make certain you have a
close look at all these details. It’s just common sense, but a
lot of great instruments are over-looked and all they need is a
slight adjustment.

In this situation the added weight of the brass bridge pins would
restrict the vibrations of the guitar top, reducing the volume
and projection of the instrument. Simply by replacing the brass
bridge pins with wood bridge pins would give the guitar a
completely different and improved sound.

In theory a Jumbo size acoustic guitar should give us the best
acoustic sound. In some cases this in not practical because of
the sheer size of the instrument and the size of the person
playing the guitar.

The most popular size is the dreadnaught size acoustic guitar.
However, some players find the sound of the dreadnaught guitar
too "boxy" and prefer the 7/8 of folk size guitars.

Lead guitarists tend to favor smaller body guitars because they
tend to have a more balanced sound to them and are easier to cut
through the band when playing with other musicians.

Tips for playing acoustic electric guitar: tip 4

Do you need a cut-a-way acoustic? This is an important question,
the majority of acoustic electric guitars available in most music
stores are cut-a-ways. Working on our "best acoustic guitar
sound" theory it makes sense that the standard acoustic (non cut-
a-way) guitar will have a fuller, richer sound as the guitar top
is left intact.

If you are playing acoustic rhythm and don’t need to play lead
parts up on the 15th,17th frets you don’t need a cut-a-way.

Tips for playing acoustic electric guitar: tip 5

Public enemy number one of the acoustic guitar is feedback.

So you go out to the average music gig and hold your beautiful
acoustic guitar up to the average little dynamic microphone. All
is going well until, they turn on the amplification and … there
it is feedback!

How do we overcome this howling, annoying sound? A simple way to
overcome the feedback issue is to:

(a) use a "feedback buster" this is little rubber plug that fits
in the sound hole of your acoustic guitar, essentially it reduces
the feedback problem be making the top of the guitar similar to
that of a solid body acoustic guitar, whilst it greatly reduces
the acoustic qualities of the guitar, the feedback buster can be
quickly removed without having to loosen the strings.

(b) try and move away from the amplifier/ speakers and definitely
don’t face your acoustic guitar into the speakers.

We’ve now covered some of the basic tips for playing acoustic
electric guitar, take your time a get the best acoustic guitar
without the electronic’s and the rest will be a piece of cake.

Still a beginner at electric guitar? Well, aside from just playing the guitar electric, there are other important things you should know like straightening The Electric Guitar neck. The video below shows that… Other than that, the article below also contains some tips for the understanding the modern electric guitar fret board.

Electric Guitar Basics – 7 Tips For Understanding the Modern Electric Guitar Fret Board

In the course of Learning Electric Guitar, the idea of using finger patterns on a neck and strings along the length of a modern electric guitar fret board is really a daunting task. The first question that came to my mind when I first started playing was, "O.K., What do I do with all of these strings and how do I make sense of it all?" Here are seven things that will help you understand the modern electric guitar Fret board and hopefully make things a little easier for you along your path.

Electric Guitar Basics Fret Board Tip 1- The modern electric guitar Fret board typically contains twenty-two or twenty-three Frets. Frets are the individual metal bars that sub-divide the entire Fret board of the guitar neck into individual spaces where the player places his or her fingers while either playing individual notes or structured chords which of course, are made up of individual notes.

Electric Guitar Basics Fret Board Tip 2- What are notes and how are they classified? Notes are simply individual sounds which are derived by shortening the length of the guitar string between the bridge (where the strings insert) and the nut or the end of the neck before reaching the head of the Guitar Neck or Fret board. Notes are named just like the English Alphabet and they are arranged this way- A, B, C, D, E, F, G (Major). This is in the simplest form because these are also subdivided into sharps and flats, minors, sixths, sevenths and ninths, diminished and so on. As one is Learning Electric Guitar these major notes are enough to start off with.

Electric Guitar Basics Fret Board Tip 3- Start learning notes by first understanding that a properly tuned electric guitar tuned to 440 Standard Pitch will be tuned to the notes, E, A, D, G, B, E when they are played open from the top string down. There are two types of notes, open (playing a note by plucking a string without placing a finger on the string on the Fret board) and Fretted notes which of course are the notes that are actually fingered on the Fret board. So when you pick up your guitar and it is properly tuned, playing the strings from the top down without putting your fingers on any of the strings on the Fret board will ring out the open notes, E, A, D, G, B, E. From here we begin to start learning our notes.

Electric Guitar Basics Fret Board Tip 4- You start learning notes by starting with the open strings mentioned above. Start with E major which is the top or heavier string in this case. At this point we are not concerned with sharps or flats. Played open it is an E major, however when you place your left index finger on the first Fret space of the top E. Fretted, that note is an F, skip one Fret and the next note will be a G, skip another Fret and then you have an A, skip another Fret and you have a B, Fret the next space directly after B and you have a C, skip a Fret and you have a D and finally skip one more Fret and you are back at E which place you on the 12th Fret. The process repeats again on the 13th fret and beyond to the last Fret. Again, we are not concerned with sharps or flats at this point. This process repeats for each string on your electric guitar.

Electric Guitar Basics Fret Board Tip 5- Again, when first learning electric guitar techniques, people can get into a rut of playing on the individual strings but not playing all of the strings. Let me explain, it is easier to find your next note on the same string you are playing however it is much more difficult to play all of the notes of a scale on each string all at one time. So it is very important to learn the notes and be able to find the notes on each string and get into the habit of playing this way from the first moment on, I suggest that you practice this way.

Electric Guitar Basics Fret Board Tip 6- If you remember nothing else while learning electric guitar, remember this one tip and it will really help you for years to come. In the grand scale of mastering the notes on the modern electric guitar Fret board, if you remember that the notes B and C go together and the notes E and F go together, you will be able to play notes, chords and scales all up and down the fret board that songs require in order to make a coherent and complete scale or piece of music. You see, the Fret board is designed in such a way that no matter what position your hand is in, you can find the next chord or note without having to stay in just one position on the neck. Chords have different positions, i.e. First position, Second position, Third position…, and depending on the position, may produce the same chord but be an octave higher (chords, positions and octaves are all lessons on their own beyond the scope of this article.)

Electric Guitar Basics Fret Board Tip 7- This final tip has to do with the modern electric guitar Fret board maintenance and helping you keep your strings working and sliding properly. Learning electric guitar can be hard on your strings and your Fret board because you will be bending your strings and picking them which is fine but here is one trick to help you keep your strings in tune and snapping back in tune after you do some bends. On the nut of the neck which is at the end of the neck, usually made of ivory or some type of hard plastic, there are six grooves which cradle each individual string and aids in guiding the strings towards the tuning machine heads and also actually help to keep the strings straight along the entire length of the Fret board.

Take a regular sharpened number 2 lead pencil and when changing your strings, rub the tip of the lead pencil into each groove of the nut firmly placing the graphite from the lead into each groove. Doing this will keep the strings from catching within the grooves of the nut and aid in allowing the strings to slide and give as you bend your strings during normal play. This also is a big help in keeping your guitar in tune; as a matter of fact, I keep a number 2 pencil with my string winder and clippers just so I can apply graphite each time I change my strings. Try it! [http://www.electricguitarbasicsonline.com/]

If you’re just starting out playing an electric guitar, a dean electric guitar could just be right for you. Here is also some history background about the dean acoustic electric bass guitar.

History of the Dean Acoustic Electric Bass – A Musical Encounter

Bass guitar is a melodious musical instrument made of strings which is either played with the fingers, thumb or the plectrum. It has about five to six strings that attuned to the same pitch. It is almost similar to an electric guitar with a mere difference of size. The electric bass has a longer neck and scale length and can be attached to amplifiers and speakers for live performances.

The first electric bass guitar was developed by the famous musician Paul Tut marc around the 1930’s. It was fretted instrument with a length of about 30 and half inches. The coming decades witnessed a plethora of changes in the instrument for better sound quality and tuning. The era of 1930s to 1970s saw some commendable guitar models such as the Precision Bass, the Fender Bass, Mustang Bass and Sting Ray among others.

The history of the dean acoustic electric bass dates back to the 1980s.With a sturdy mahogany frame, a rosewood fingerboard; this one has no body bindings. It has a sharp edgy body with a huge and perfectly shaped neck.Almost all guitar lovers swear by its great neck that is simply awesome to play some eighties rock music and can deliver some wonderful notes with distortions on.

The layout of its pick up enables and out of phase wiring that lets you explore the tone options. Since the guitar is quite light in weight, it is easy and comfortable for the user to create music. It has a large V headstock with a nearly perfect switchgear and knob. Most Dean Guitars have an inbuilt tune o matic bridge and a great tailpiece, however the nitro-lacquer coating needs to be redone after a few years to maintain its shine and look

One can juxtapose the tunings by setting them to personal preferences, though the louder the settings are with this one, finer is the music. Besides a lack of Fender tones it can work for almost all tunes unlike other guitars. The best part about Dean Bass guitars is that an increased volume does not intervene with the sound quality (which is the case with many other guitar types of this era).

The price of an old bass guitar is quite genuine unless you invest highly in its distortions and pickups. Dean acoustic guitars have a simple finish with a dull mahogany hue but considering the impeccable tonal options and music delivery, it surely is your neighbor’s envy.

Today, however, these attractive and warm sounding guitars are a major part of the instrument industry and demand respect. That respect, however, cannot be measured by any one feature that the Alvarez line is responsible for. Each of the Alvarez instruments are excellently crafted and unique in features.

The Products Alvarez makes a wide variety of string instruments including mandolins, banjos, folk guitars, baritone guitars, classical and 12 string guitars as well as electric guitars under the Yairi name.

History The history of Alvarez Guitars began with Matsumoku Industrial which was established in the early 1900s. The company started out as a woodworking business which specialized in Japanese furniture and created a small success doing so. After WWII the Singer Corporation contracted Matsumoku Industrial to build its sewing machine cabinets. Shortly after, in 1951, a partnership began and Matsumoku became a subsidiary of Singer. Around that same time the company also built amplifier cabinets, entertainment cabinets and speaker boxes for several audio and television manufacturers. Around the mid 1950s Matsumoku decided to make additions to his companies endeavors. There were already skilled luthiers working on his staff so naturally the company veered toward stringed instruments. In order to establish an instrumental reputation for themselves, Matsumoku aimed for quality though he was only building them on contract to various companies with their own designs. He continued manufacturing for the following companies and their affiliates through the 60s.

        FujiGen Gakki

        Greco

        Yamaha

        Aria

        Gibson

        Univox

        Westbury

        Vantage

        Westminster

        Cutler

        Lyle

        Fell

        Gibson knock-offs

        Washburn

In 1978 Matsumoku began making their own line of guitars called Electra-Westone since Electra Music Co. distributed for them. In 1979, however, the company was releasing guitars under Westone alone, and began an instrument making journey for itself. 1981 marked the launch of the first Westone instruments which included Thunder guitars and Rainbow I 6 String basses but the use of laminate exterior and brass hardware were not popular amongst consumers. Over the next few years Westone also released many others, creating a hit and miss reputation with both mild and moderate successes as well as several disappointments.

        Concorde

        Prestige

        Rainbow

        Spectrum 6 Strings

        Session II

        Raider

        Quantum

        Rail

        Dimension

        Dynasty

        Pantera

Because of the mottled reputation of Westone guitars along with other business related reasons, Matsumoku dropped out of instrument manufacturing completely in 1987. The self reliant company, however, moved on and began making Fender-influenced solid bodies with no success and the Westone image had already become so damaged that Westone ended in 1991. Born from the ashes, Westone became Alvarez.

Today The much more modern instrument maker has certainly made its way in the luthier industry. Quality, reliability and beauty grace their many products today.

Fender guitars are undoubtedly great quality guitars. Read the article below to learn more about it.

Fender Guitars: Tradition that Never Gets Old

Without a doubt, Fender guitars are the top-of-the-line in guitars. Success in business is often measured according to the amount of money and sales a company is able to secure. The success of the Fender Musical Instruments Corporation proves there are two other elements to consider: dedication and perseverance. From the beginning, it was company owner Leo Fender’s main goal to fender guitars the best as possible. The first fruits of his labor would prove positive his dedication He would reach his goal by designing the Telecaster, a solid-body electric guitar with a Spanish design. This guitar, like many Fender guitars that would follow, was the first of its kind. Only a few years after gaining fame with the Telecaster, Fender followed with the Precision Bass and Stratocaster. These Fender guitars are now collector’s items.

Shortly after the success of their pioneering guitars, the company switched management gears and was sold to CBS due to Leo Fender failing ill. For the decade that followed, the company would reach the pinnacle of success by riding on the coattails of their successful Fender guitars. Luckily, CBS returned to its broadcasting ventures and sold the company to employees who basically rebuilt the company from the ground up. Slowly and with assurance the company rebuilt its reputation in the amplifier and guitar industry. They also continued the company’s dedication to customize guitars.

The Fender guitars that put the manufacturer on the map were the Telecaster and the Stratocaster. These two electric guitars proved that the company knew how to make great sound. Anytime a musician looks for a guitar, the quality they most often search for is sound.

When Leo Fender first considered joining the guitar industry, he was actually a designer of amplifiers. When people think of Fender guitars they often think of electric guitars. The Fender Musical Instruments Corporation also produces a good stock of reputable acoustic guitars. To show their versatility, the company also created a selection of acoustic-electric and bass guitars.

Reviewing Fender Guitars

The old saying that, "If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it" probably applies to how Eric Clapton became associated with the Fender company. For many years the guitar legend Eric Clapton was a die hard Gibson guitar fan. That was until the company discontinued his favorite Gibson guitar. Clapton finally discovered love in the land of Fender guitars. Out of his collaborations with the company arose the introduction of the Clapton Signature Strat guitars. Clapton has not turned back since. The following are the unique features of this line of guitars:

* Noiseless Pickups that are trademarked

* Tremolo bridge

* Neck shaped in the form of a "V"

Nowadays, there are very few things that last 50 years. However, the American Telecaster has done just that. It was 50 years ago that Fender introduced the American Telecaster into its line of electric guitars. The Telecaster has managed to stand time because it has adapted with it as opposed to standing still. The following features exist on the most recent edition of the American Telecaster:

* Signature S-1 switching system

* Complementing pickups

* Traditional body radius

Looking for some easy guitar songs for beginners? Here are 5 suggested acoustic guitar songs that’s really easy to play. Why not try it out?

5 Easy Acoustic Guitar Songs For Beginners

Are you looking for some easy acoustic guitar songs for beginners? Here are five songs everybody is sure to know that can be played with just two chords.

1. Oh My Darlin’ Clementine

Anybody who watched the Huckleberry Hound cartoons as a kid will know the song "Oh My Darlin’ Clementine". Huckleberry sang this song, an American western folk ballad that tells the story of a bereaved lover who lost his darling in the 1849 California Gold Rush. You can play this song with the D and A7 chords and use a 3/4 strum pattern. It sounds nice too with a bass strum, pick the fourth string on beat one of the D chords then strum twice, pick the fifth string on beat one of A7 chords and strum twice.

2. Hush Little Baby

Hush Little Baby is a another well-known song that’s easy to play. A traditional lullaby in question and answer format, the lyrics promise all kinds of rewards to the child if he or she is quiet. To play this song use the C and G chords and a 4/4 up and down strum pattern.

3. Eleanor Rigby

It’s not just traditional songs that you can play with two-chords, even the Beatles used this form in a couple of their famous songs. Eleanor Rigby is a haunting song about loneliness from their 1966 album Revolver. Despite its simple structure the song ranked 137 in Rolling Stone magazine’s 2004 list of the 500 greatest songs of all time. You can play this song on guitar with just the two chords C and Em.

4. Paperback Writer

According to Wikipedia Paul McCartney aimed to create a song with a melody backed by only a single chord and just missed his goal with Paperback Writer. Paperback Writer was the Beatle’s eleventh single in 1966 and went to number one in several countries. McCartney may have missed his goal but he still left us a lively and dynamic acoustic guitar song beginners to enjoy. The verse is played on a single G7 chord through until the ending on a C.

5. Born In The USA

A more recent hit, "Born in the U.S.A." is one of Bruce Springsteen’s best known singles. Widely thought of as a patriotic anthem the song in fact tells of the effects of the Vietnam War from the point of view of a veteran. The song ranked 275th on Rolling Stone’s list of the 500 Greatest Songs of All Time.

The song is in 4/4 time, alternate B chords and then E chords for two lines each during the verses. For the chorus play B for two "Born in the U.S.A.’s", then E for the third and finally B for the last. What could make for easier acoustic guitar songs for beginners than these simple two-chord songs? With a simple structure these are all real songs that are sure to be popular with any audience. Why not learn one today?

Want absolute lessons for beginners? Even absolute beginners have the right to learn how to play electric guitar as long as they want it and have discipline for it. Anyways, here’s an article that could help.

Absolute Lessons For Guitar Beginners

Learning to play the guitar lessons is a great idea, but how to start? There are so many options that choosing one out of the many can me overwhelming. One of the most common ways people usually start their search is to consider what kind of lessons they want. For example, do they want to play by ear, play by chords, or learn to read sheet music? The other thing people consider right off the top is how much the program costs.

There are many competing websites, books and DVDs available when it comes to the subject of Guitar Lessons For Beginners. For novices it can be very difficult to know which method of guitar instruction is best especially if you have no experience whatsoever. To most people the obvious step is to find a local teacher and attend lessons once a week, this is the most traditional way to learn guitar and perhaps still the best. You could find, however, that there aren’t any guitar teachers operating in your local area. Another point to bear in mind is not to automatically assume that everyone who advertises themselves as a guitar teacher is good at teaching guitar!

If you can’t find the time to dedicate to a weekly lessons slot or perhaps can’t even find a local teacher the internet becomes the obvious answer for most. Guitar Lessons For Beginners features highly on a lot of guitar websites and some of the instruction is fantastic. Learning at home in front of you PC means that you have freedom do practice at any time convenient and can repeat the lesson modules as often as needed? Should you have any problems most sites will answer your emails quickly.

Online guitar lessons for beginners are designed to help you to play your favorite songs very fast. You can follow step-by-step instructions, videos where you can see how to play this, sound files, games and other resources.
